BCC’s academic programs integrate Biblical Studies, Theology, Leadership, Counseling, Research, and Practicum. Each program emphasizes spiritual formation, prayer, character development, and hands-on ministry experience to prepare students for effective service in the Church and society.
Doctor of Ministry (DMin)
The Doctor of Ministry (DMin) program is an advanced, practice-oriented degree designed for experienced ministers actively engaged in vocational or bi-vocational ministry. The program enhances leadership capacity, ministry effectiveness, and applied research skills grounded in biblical and theological foundations.

Leadership & Ministry Studies
Students are trained in Christian Leadership, Church Growth, Interpersonal Communication, Conflict Management and Resolution, Peace Building, and Global and Worldview Studies.
Counseling Studies
Programs include Christian Counseling and Trauma Healing, equipping students to minister effectively to individuals and communities.
Study Modes & Flexibility
Bible Covenant College offers flexible learning options to serve working ministers and leaders. All programs are available through Regular, Distance, Weekend, and Night study modes, allowing students to balance education with ministry and professional responsibilities.
Seminars, Research & Practicum
Students participate in academic seminars addressing current church and leadership issues, conduct research papers or dissertations, and engage in supervised practicum experiences.
Medium of Instruction
Courses are offered in English, Amharic, and Afaan Oromo, depending on the program focus and student needs.
Practicum & Ministry Engagement
Practicum is a core component of all programs. Through partnerships with churches, ministries, and community organizations, students gain real-world experience in ministry, leadership, mission, and community development.
Accreditation
All academic programs are officially recognized and accredited by the Ethiopian Gospel Believers Council (EGBC).
